Post Processor Development for CAM Systems
ITC, Inc. has several years of experience creating customized post processors for 2 or more axis machines. We have developed posts for milling, turning and mill-turn centers from different machine tool providers.
Our customized post processors are developed to specification with the objective to optimize performance of the machine, improve capabilities and increase process efficiency. Post processors are created using NX Post Builder, and modified to satisfy user defined preferences, special UDEs can be incorporated to facilitate programming process and reduce programming time. Custom cycles, improved management of attachments, coordinate system rotation, polar positioning, high-speed machining and more, are features that have been included in our customized post processors.
Manufacturing simulation development
Our applications engineers have extensive experience developing machining simulation packages through Vericut. We have developed simulation for multiple operations and different machine tools, from simple 3 axis machines to complex 5 or more axis machines, dual spindle and multiple heads and attachments. We also develop the Tool Library in Vericut with the necessary tooling to simulate the process of the parts to be machined. Everything to make the machining simulation a simple "push-button" process.
Regardless of the objective of simulation we have developed virtual CNCs that incorporate both graphic simulation and collision detection, as well as non-graphical kinematic representations designed to enable Vericut to accurately process and verify G-codes.
ITC, Inc.’s applications and manufacturing engineers have experience supporting manufacturing systems integration initiatives. We have been involved in manufacturing system selection, implementation, optimization, data gathering, date entering, validation, and troubleshooting.
